ABC7's Bill Campbell

FHPC tapes with ABC7's Bill Campbell with partners from District 200 in Woodstock and Healthyuvending in McHenry!  Taping (4/8/10) was done for the Chicagoing Show to be aired on a date to be determined.  This is the third taping for FHPC and we thank Bill and ABC7 for their support and this exposure opportunity!!!!!  Kathy Rauch, Suzanne Hoban, Bill Campbell, Lisa Tate and T Hephner are pictured on the ABC7 set.

Woodstock Fire Rescue District

Thank you WFRD!  For the second year, Ryan Zbierski, has coordinated a pink t-shirt sale during October.  This year the sale campaign was spear-headed by Ryan with the help of Teresa Vidales of WFRD.  Ryan presented a check to FHPC for $429.75 to benefit the clinic's breast cancer fund. Kathy Rauch, Cathy Brickey and Alma Toranzo of FHPC are pictured with Ryan.

Crystal Lake South High School National Honor Society
 
+National Honor Society students at CLSH held a Pink Out event this fall during football season.  Kelsey Taldone, along with her mother, Amy, designed the t-shirts and the NHS sold them to students, faculty, family & friends.  The NHS collected $4,000 for breast cancer awareness.  Family Health Partnership Clinic received $2,000 for its breast cancer fund!  And, the Susan G. Komen Foundation received $2,000!

Laurie Buffo, Crystal Lake

Since 2007, Laurie Buffo of Crystal Lake (middle in picture), has collected $5,725 through her team "Team 22 for Nancy" for the FHPC breast cancer fund. Laurie and her friends participate in the Care4 Breast Cancer 5K in memory of their friend, Nancy Hanrahan.

Jaci Krandel, Woodstock

Jaci Krandel, owner of Jaci’s Cookies, celebrated National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day by baking chocolate chip cookies from her business kitchen in Woodstock.  Jaci sold her chocolate chip cookies under a campaign, “Chip In for Health”.  Jaci generated over $700.00 for the services at the clinic.  Family Health Partnership Clinic provides primary health care to people who are uninsured and underinsured.  FHPC Executive Director Suzanne Hoban, left, is pictured with Jaci Krandel.


Latinos United with American Honor, Woodstock

LUCHA, a student group at Woodstock North High School, have provided time, talent and treasure to FHPC during the past two years.  Talent in the form of bringing their creativity and energy to our Gala theme.  Time in the form of volunteering each week to file charts, organize and sort donations and participating in the Care4 Breast Cancer 5K.  Treasure in the form of holding a "penny drive" in which they collected $390 from their fellow students.  Pictured are Ms. Caroline Giraldo, club advisor, Rafa Castaneda, Ruby Santana and Fernando Diaz.

John Sullivan, State Farm Insurance, Woodstock

John Sullivan, State Farm Insurance Agent, donated $1,500 to FHPC to benefit patients at the clinic who have diabetes.  This donation will specifically provide glucometers and strips to patients who are unable to afford these very essential items to manage their disease.  Pictured at Suzanne Hoban, John Sullivan, Candy Arias, Kathy Rauch and Cathy Patenaude
